Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland. It is a city full of history, famous for its universities, beautiful buildings, and lively cultural scene. The city also has many green parks and friendly people who will make you feel welcome. 

The city has many exciting places to visit, including: 

  • Historic and religious sites 
  • Parks and beaches 
  • Museums and art galleries 
  • Theatres 
  • Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse 

Edinburgh is also a great starting point for exploring Scotland and the UK. It hosts many arts and cultural festivals throughout the year, including the 鈥� the world鈥檚 largest arts festival, held every August. 

The social programme trips were all very enjoyable and I love spending more time with the other students.

Summer School Social and Cultural Programme听

  • Three afternoon or evening activities per week (in Edinburgh)听
  • One full-day Saturday trip per week (outside Edinburgh)听

Year-Round Social and Cultural Programme听

  • Regular trips and social activities for all international students听
