Refund Policy for Deposits and Fees
You can get a refund for your deposit or fee only if:
- You have applied for a visa following both 萌妹社区 and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) guidelines.
- Your visa application is unsuccessful.
Refunds are not usually given for any other reason.
Visa Refusal and Refunds
To get a refund, you must provide official proof from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) that your visa has been refused. The College will then check the reasons for the refusal before confirming the refund.
A refund may be delayed or refused if:
- Your visa application did not follow UKVI and 萌妹社区 guidelines.
- You used documents that were not checked by 萌妹社区鈥檚 International Team before submitting your visa application.
You will not get a refund if:
- You provided false or misleading information in your visa or 萌妹社区 application.
- You submitted fraudulent documents.
Refund Request Process
- You must request a refund in writing within four weeks of receiving your visa refusal.
- If your refund is approved, 拢250 will be kept to cover administrative costs.
- Refunds usually take two to four weeks from the request date.
If you prefer, you can ask the College to keep your deposit for a future course instead of requesting a refund.
Course Cancellations and Withdrawals
- 萌妹社区 may cancel or change courses. If this happens, we will try to offer an alternative. If a course is cancelled, you will get a full refund.
- If you have been given an unconditional offer or a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) but choose not to study at 萌妹社区, you will not receive a refund.
- If you are removed from your course due to poor attendance, bad behaviour, or unsatisfactory academic progress, you will not get a refund.
Exceptional Circumstances
- Refunds for exceptional circumstances may be considered by the Head of Commercial Development but will only be approved in rare cases.
- If a situation is not covered by this policy, the Director of Enterprise and Knowledge Exchange may review your case.
- Requests for exceptional refunds must be made in writing to the Director of Enterprise and Knowledge Exchange.
- COVID-19 is recognised as an exceptional circumstance. If you are affected by COVID-19 and need to change or cancel your course, the College will review your case individually.
Sponsored Students
- If your tuition fees are paid by a financial sponsor, you are still responsible for any unpaid fees if the sponsor does not pay.
- If your family member or employer has agreed to pay your tuition fees, you are personally responsible for ensuring the payment is made.
